Health, happiness and financial well-being: the main wishes of Russians on the eve of the New Year
According to a study conducted by the ROMIR Institute of Man, the main wishes of Russians on the eve of the New Year are health, happiness and financial well-being.
If adult citizens of the country had the opportunity to write a letter to Father Frost, the overwhelming majority - 69% - would ask for good health for themselves and their loved ones. This indicates the priority of physical and psychological well-being in the value system of Russians.
In second place in popularity was the desire for happiness - 49% of respondents would indicate it in their message to the winter wizard. The importance of emotional comfort and peace of mind for citizens remains relevant.
Financial well-being also occupies a significant place in the wish list of Russians. 37% of respondents would ask Father Frost for the opportunity to earn a lot of money in the new year, which reflects a feeling of economic uncertainty and the desire for financial stability and security.
It is interesting to note that material goods such as travel (19%) and new cars (19%) shared the fourth position in the desire rating.
Family values also remain important for a significant part of the population. 18% of respondents would like to celebrate the New Year with their loved ones. This underlines the importance of family traditions and the role of family in the lives of Russians.
Additional material goods such as a new apartment were also reflected in the desires of 15% of respondents, which once again confirms the desire to improve the quality of life and material stability.
Finally, 8% of respondents would like to find true love. The importance of interpersonal relationships and the search for personal happiness have not lost their relevance for Russians.
