ROMIR is excited to announce release of the enhanced Trade Audit, aimed at monitoring key performance indicators in Modern and Traditional Trade channels across Russia, Asia, Caucasus, Africa, Middle East and other parts of the Globe.

In Store Audit - control over work execution and clear idea how the product is sold in the store.  

Trade (In Store) Audit is a popular marketing tool aimed at studying how effectively a particular outlet or distribution channel sells your product.  

The most frequent initiators of this type of research are FMCG manufacturers and retailers.  

Considering the data obtained, customers of the service can understand the specifics of the occupied product segment and, depending on the outlet type, form the most profitable product assortment.  

Also, monitor the situation with the product distribution and compare their own applied marketing and pricing strategies against other market players.

As a result, customers will have access to a complete and up-to-date picture of the trade state.  

The frequency of inspections within the framework of audit studies can be different - from one time, allowing to collect and analyze information over a certain period of time, to regularly repeated, with the ability to assess the situation in dynamics.  

At the end of 2024 ROMIR, together with its partner, an agricultural enterprise, completed testing of an improved operational process using a new technological solution for data collection in Moscow trade channels.  

During the study that was focused on such categories as Chilled Chicken and Semi-finished Meat products, the shelf was audited for products of key manufacturers, identifying changes in certain weeks of the month against the expected KPI.  

Players promotional offers and materials were measured to develop the strategy for maintaining the partner's PROMO competitiveness.  

Data on facings and stock was also collected to analyze the effectiveness of managing the displays and products stock for customers.  

Actual product assortment, according to the list of Must Have items did not reveal deviations in any week of the month.  

Based on the audit fulfilled, ROMIR developed further recommendations to improve merchandising activities for our partner.  

The introduction of an improved process in combination with new technologies will allow ROMIR to provide advanced analytics from In Store, Retail and Census audits for all our customers, as well as ensure best service quality, while also reduce internal costs for field with positive impact on the overall cost of the research for our clients.
