According to Russians, the onset of cold weather is a good time for visits: in autumn and winter, 27% of respondents begin to visit more often. They visit relatives and friends primarily for the sake of communication: this option was noted by 86% of respondents. Also, the top 3 popular activities included joint lunches or dinners (73%) and board games (26%).

The results of the study showed that almost every second resident of the country prefers to visit only on holidays (46%). Several times a month, 26% of respondents visit, and once a week - 13%.

Only 15% of Russians do not visit anyone at all. Most willingly, residents of the country visit friends and relatives - 74% and 71%, respectively. 15% visit neighbors and 14% - work colleagues.

85% of respondents answered that they generally visit guests. The most sociable (89%) are young people aged 25 to 34: they visit friends more often. The least likely to visit are citizens aged 55–64 (75%). Older people visit their neighbors more often than other groups. Also, according to the study, married couples visit slightly more often — 88% versus 84% ​​of unmarried couples.

More than half of Russians (59%) always try to bring something with them when visiting, another 35% when there is a reason and opportunity, only 6% do not buy anything. The most common reason for buying a gift was the desire to please the hosts and their children — 59% of Russians answered this way. 42% come with gifts to create a pleasant atmosphere, and for 35% of respondents this is a pleasant tradition. Most often, people bring sweets for tea (71%), drinks (57%), fruits (43%) and snacks (42%). Young people aged 18 to 24 most often bring decorative items as gifts (22%), respondents aged 25 to 34 bring toys for the hosts' children (39%), and Russians aged 55 to 64 most often bring fruits (55%) and flowers (22%).

It is interesting that a third of Russians (32%) are ready to spend no more than 500 rubles on gifts for guests, 38% - no more than one thousand rubles, 18% - a maximum of two thousand rubles. And only 6% are ready to spend more than two thousand rubles on gifts.
