New ROMIR: Institute of Man and "The Measure of Everything"

The ROMIR conference “The Measure of Everything” was held in Moscow, bringing together our company’s clients and partners. The event presented a new positioning of ROMIR as the Institute of Man and a community of scientists and practitioners in the field of social sciences. We shared the latest research and technologies with the conference participants, including a presentation of the Longitudinal System.

The conference was held on board a comfortable yacht, which hosted more than 100 representatives of major brands, leading universities, non-profit organizations and development institutions. The journey along the Moscow River symbolized the constant movement in which our society as a whole and the market for research on Man in particular are.

The conference was opened by ROMIR President Andrey Milekhin, who revealed to the participants the secret of the event’s name “The Measure of Everything”. “Plato said that man is the measure of all things. Man is at the heart of our work, and all our activities are aimed at his comprehensive knowledge using five fundamental social sciences: psychology, sociology, marketing, demography and statistics.”

Andrey Milekhin also presented the new positioning of ROMIR as the Institute of Man — the largest community of scientists and practitioners and the leader of scientific and practical research in the Eurasian space. "The Measure of Everything" is both the new name of the regularly held client conference and the official slogan of the ROMIR Institute of Man, which reflects its positioning.

The conference saw the first presentation of the ROMIR Longitudinal System — a unique tool for aggregating, systematizing, normalizing and harmonizing big data from various sources over a long period of time — since 1987. For the first time, participants were able to see not only the operating principle of the "longitudinal circle" consisting of more than 340 parameters for measuring a person, but also the digital interface of the system.

The latest research by the ROMIR team in the field of artificial intelligence, digital threats, consumer behavior and other advanced developments were also presented.
