The fast food market grew by 5% in this year
According to a study, made by Romir, QSR (fast food restaurants) sales in Russia increased by 5% in Q3 2022 compared to Q3 2021. It was influenced by the increase in the average check and the expansion of the purchase set.
Burgers take 30% of all spending by Russians in fast food restaurants by Russians. The sgares of french fries and rolls are 10% each in the wallet of the QSR buyer. The situation in the capital is slightly different. If the first and second most popular food categories are still burgers and french fries, then the third place is occupied by coffee, shifting rolls to fourth place.
In the QSR Russians spend the most on weekdays. They account 65% of all spending in fast food restaurants, weekends - 35%.
